Service Description

9 hours (6 weeks of class) 4.5 hours of basic workshops with 4.5 hours of advanced and on-location workshops. Repeats every other Wednesday. Basics of this initial modeling class called In the Studio Photo Posing you will... 1. Become comfortable in front of a camera 2. Learn the foundations of body and facial posing for print and runway work 3. Have a model spot in one or more of the annual Kapa Mag productions, fundraisers, affiliated productions and the Kapa Mag Hard Copy 2023 Group Course Posing Basics, "the Marionette" In "the Marionette" class talent learns to control body parts in order to best showcase and display what is needed when modeling (From head to toe, a talent will understand how to find the light, stand tall and will learn the basic template for any pose). Posing Basics, "Musical Chairs" In our "musical chairs" class, talent are exposed to and re-create several modeling poses. Here they will develop a library of poses that can be used for print or runway work. Posing Basics, Pose Off Poses from the previous class are presented in different forms. Talent can perfect their posing and begin to flow into creative and natural posing flows. Posing Advanced, Mannequin turn During this class, talent learn the mannequin turn and begin a choreographed posing drill. Posing Advanced, Posing Production Class posing production: choreographed drills ae recorded. Posing Advanced, Camera ready Headshots If you are unable to make these class days and or times, find us for private classes. We will work with your schedule (physical or online) -
