An education program designed to reset core values and prioritize individuality. KAPAMAG’s K’ou 'oihana pono'i, is an exciting new 8 week inclusion course which allows for a change in mindset for all individuals. The program allows for individuals to find themselves through a series of quick exercises and challenges. Who are you? K’ou 'oihana pono'i, translates to the "business of me" and we believe all individuals should know themselves in order to pursue their dreams and live pono. This program was created: 1. To empower children through different art forms (music, dance & performance) 2. Provide a fun program where children enjoy engaging with others 3. Teach children the importance of emotions and how to safely express them through different artistic forms The program is designed to: 1. Give the child a safe space to create while setting boundaries 2. Allow children to create and work together by sharing and building on similar goals 3. Get all children exposed to simple coding K’ou 'oihana pono'i connects youth, talent and inquisitive individuals with community leaders, professionals and creatives. Depending on the "culture" of your establishment, the program acts as a conversation, reminder and example for us to live and find our individual and personal truths. Designed for 16 hours , Kapa Mag has developed specific lessons to encourage individuals to appreciate and nurture their own decisions and value sets. KAPAMAG - More than a Magazine is a registered 501(c)3 organization with a mission to assist with personal and professional development as well as autonomy in order to advance the people and merchants throughout the Hawaiian Island chain. We aim to achieve our mission through the following objectives:

 

1) Providing safe, ethical, and affordable coaching for confidence building and self-development to all Hawaii youth and teens to build a strong community and protect our keiki from the negative impacts of technology abuse and social anxieties and trafficking of any kind.

 

2) Providing a safe and continuous platform for Hawaii youth and creatives, with a particular focus on the fashion industry of Hawaii. This will help them showcase and develop their personal and professional brand.

 

3) Providing affordable business assistance to start-ups, emerging businesses, and non-profit organizations developed in and for Hawaii.
